PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
ART NEVER CHANGES; THE THING THAT CHANGES IS THE WAY WE PRESENT IT.
For architecture as an art and science to survive, it needs to be a real public art and science. To achieve this prime goal of architecture, an architect needs to consider people's most needs and financial situation. Away from dreams, architect imagination is not limited by this financial situation, but to success, it has to adapt to this factor. Once this consideration is neglected, all work shall be a kind of time wasting. From a simple hut in Indian semi-continent to a first class housing complex in Florida beach, the bases are the same, but you need to be creative to compromise between these two challenges.
The changing things are environment, budget and program. The Challenge is how to employ our imagination to solve the needs of both clients and SIDAREC challenge is not an exception too.
Our approach was:
- Understanding client needs.
- Understanding client budget.
- Interface and act to make these needs achievable in such away that client may not expect or even aims that this is achievable within his budget.
The more we succeed in this intervention, the most close we are to achieve the goal of survival of architecture as an art and science to serve public.

To achieve this we tried to build an achievable DREAM using simple, cost effective building material of local material of new or used, painted corrugated sheets, polystyrene boards of 4 inches, and interior wood boards of 1/4" on a steel structure, based on our design. An estimated cost of less than 100,000 USD will be good enough to success in this challenge.
