PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
AFH Minnesota and AIA MN collaborated with the local advocacy group Voices of Change to create these modular day-storage lockers for the homeless. Suitable to varying spaces and situations.
Autodesk Freewheel allows users to view and share 2D and 3D designs in their browser without installing additional software.

For the homeless, having a place to store your stuff is a first step toward regaining a normal life. When applying for a job or going to work you carrying all your belongings just increases the difficulty.
By creating places to store their belongings the homeless can begin to reintegrate into society.
Architecture for Humanity, along w/ AIA Minnesota created this modular design for wide distribution. We will be building a prototype this summer. Let us know your thoughts. Improve our designs.
