PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Survivorbuildingregeneration is the old balloon frame done with modern metal wood connectors, or metal to metal connectors which makes this type of building earthquake, and hurricane proof, which is the survivor part. The regeneration part is that these buildings go together using crossbracing and clieves pins, simular to how skaffolding goes together, meaning the frame can be taken apart without destroying the building materials. When the frame is put up more than once it can be said to have regenerated. Or if after two hundred years of use a survivorregenerating building is striped down to the frame and damaged wood is replaced by new, then after the building is reconstructed it could be said to have regenerated.
