It is refreshing that the design team did not opt for a ready-made, commercially available playground equipment, it would have been the "easy" solution. A little pool instead of a sand box, that's a bit different.
The stairwell leading to the slide has a rather Asian air about it, culturally sensitive decisions in the development phase took place. A garden to educate children would be a good addition, someone has been damaging the plants in the circular parterre, probably running over them. Yikes!!
