PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The design concept of FLEX Modular System is to re-inteprete the notion of an affordable yet attractive and functional kiosk system. The Kiosk system is easily transportable, reconfigurable and expandable by the community to fit their needs as the program evolves from a lockable single module rental kiosk to a multi-modules portable classroom. The flexibility of the system can be expressed in panel 2 and 3.
The Intregration of the Lockable FLEX Futbol Rental Kiosk with the existing playing field or a newly deployed field creates a place not only for sports but also a gathering place for the neighborhood. The Kiosk created the gateway or entry for the playing field thus created a point of entry and exit for ease of the players to return the equipments after play. The Kiosk is very portable and provides a distinct identity for any communities. The skin of the panelized system is made from reclaimed existing metal signages and painted to represents the community, thus creating an art wall that expresses the identity and also by involving the community, the kiosk will be taken care of as an asset.
The attendant will easily unlock and deploy the kiosk each day as the wall that created the shading for the seating areas are connected to a foldable arm with a roller system. The arm is then push to an upright position and locked in place so that it act as the structure that holds the wall / shade roof.
The term ‘Kiosk by day’ and ‘Lantern by night’ concludes its portability and multi-functional concept as a portable sport rental facility and as well as a ‘Lantern’ that lights the area at night creating a safer night environment.
