PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Thank you for entering the Google Sketchup Sportables Competition.
Reclaimed buckets and doors For this design I propose the use of reclaimed buckets and doors. Standard 5 gallon buckets - US liquid gallons (18.9 liters) Standard 32inches x 80 inches doors (813mm x 2033mm) The goal posts are made from bucket with a telescopic pole with a ring at the top. Two such buckets are placed the requisite distance apart and a string is tied between the two. The pitch is lined with the pitch marker. This is composed of a bucket , a spool of string, a crank, chalk and some chalk powder. The string is pulled and as it unravels from the spool it goes through chalk powder. The string is graduated, marking the various lengths in the pitch construction. Once the desired length is reached, the string is sapped, marking a line. For circles and arcs, the string is held at both ends and the chalk inserted in the ring is used to scribe the arc or circle. The booth is constructed of buckets and doors. There is a base plank, a roof and a table top all made from doors. The table top is sliced down the middle on the long side and hinged. Holes are cut into it to hold buckets. The buckets on the pivot side hold shoes, shirts, shorts and deflated balls. The balls are inflated with a foot pump, when purchased. The goal post buckets and pitch marker buckets are stored in the flat half of the table top. They can be for sale or rent.
