rapidly deployable cold climate temporary enclosure

Overviewteamupdatesworkspacecalendarfiles

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Rapidly deployable enclosure, this system has been developed in response to: quick temporary construction, cold climates, areas with few local supplies for building (on the scale and time frame of large transitional populations), areas with limited accessability (extreme isolation), little to no training or assumed knoledge for construction. An inner bladder is inflated and the resultant cavity is rigidized from a two part polyeurathane foam that is mixed on site and poured into the cavity. Solidification into an occupiable enclosure occurs within 1 hour. The project's design development is complete and full scale prototypes are almost underway (looking for sponsorship). The following series is taken from the last physical scale prototype developed.
