PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This is part of an ongoing project to produce affordable ecohousing out of commercial softwood, as woods are converted to native constant cover forestry. ie rather than say softwood is bad make local use of materials for selfbuild ecohousing to maintain local rural indigenous communities. At the same time we can provide sustainable local emplyment and training in the techniques involved. Ultimately this project is to restore our countryside by putting people in it to manage the landscape and live in affordable eco settlements with live/work units and residential units all with the ability to be 90% autonomous
