I would like to see the plans on how this was done. I've built a geodesic cardboard model, which I've coated with wax (to reuse it for a mold). A styrofoam/ cement covering will provide solidity. This is where I got my plans: http://www.orednet.org/~jgarlitz/geodome.htm
The plan is suitable for easy construction, providing you can afford to buy the eps foam sheets (expensive).
